A fragment of a coyote jaw, cast in ceramic!
Made from a mold of a real jaw then slipcast in earthenware clay. Blue floral design and an accent of 22k gold luster running along the gumline. On an adjustable waxed cotton cord with gold bead. The exact gold bead may vary in the final version.
Handmade by me in my Maryland studio. Jaw fragment measures 2" long.
This is a PREORDER and will take up to 4 weeks to create and ship. Each piece is cast, let to dry out slowly, then fired 3-4 times in the kiln after applying each surface treatment.
You have the option to order one with an additional mother of pearl luster, applied to the pattern on the jawbone. The last few photos are of an example of the luster on a different pattern, but you will receive one with the first floral pattern.
